I was really impressed by what you were able to accomplish. It looks awesome! BUT as you said it is incomplete so it isn't really ground breaking or amazing. Just some really nice shots that make me wonder what could have been.

AkiniM responds:

I just wanted to know what my potential is, I am surprised by what I did in five days only on my PC!
So why leave it like that?
I'm going to finish it !!
And it will be epic!

What can I say? this is so un funny it's funny.
great lip synching, and besides file size and loading, can't find anything wrong with it. It was lacking a wao factor, but it made me smile, and sometimes, thats all one can ask for.

really good

really great animation, though it seems to move a bit too much at points, it does display a lot of life, and the animation tell a quite ridiculous story very well. the voice acting as very good, and the atmosphere and tone set were great. i like the way when the cat is on top of the "victim" he is perched there just like a cat. lol.
i found the easter egg... was that person serious? easily the strangest voice acting i've ever heard.

CatFat responds:

Haha we're really not sure if he was serious, that's what makes it so peculiar.
Thanks for your positive comments :)

yea!

i did notice the changes, subtle, but they do add to the timing and the setting. I am so happy to see this series is going to be continued. yea!! i don't know what else to say, but i'm happy anyway!

as you said this is NOT very good

i am not a great animator, and by professional standards i still suck, so don't feel bad, but as you well know, so i won't reiterate this too much, this was not very good. first and fore most, please work on your voice acting/editing. what i heard was simply a garble version of what might have been pitch changed vocals, but none of it was intelligible. as far as animation itself was concerned... well ive seen better done on ms paint. i'm not trying to be mean, just honest.
my advice would be to watch all of the tutorials at your disposal. as well watch the videos by your favorite flash artists again and again.. and again. understand what they do to create their animations, and even if you can't do what they do, strive to try. animation is a hard field and it takes a lot of devotion and time, that's why they get paid a lot of the time to do it. yet moreover an animator must love to create, an animator must be willing to devote their life to the pursuit of bringing their imagination to life. that is the only way that animators can create what they do, because it takes a lot of life to make only a five second image of life.
now that i have given my rant, i just want to say, that yes this was really bad, but don't give up, if you want to create, never give up. just spend almost all of what you used to call a life learning the trade, and then learn more.
oh and although your animation was bad, mad respect. why? because you put something out their. that is the first step to getting better,

any way, man
best of luck,
keep on going no matter what negative reviews you get,

and one day you too could be one of the greatly respected flash animators!

not something i really enjoyed

certain aspects of your animation i found to be enjoyable. i liked the mouth movements the way you combined tweening fx and fbf seamlessly. being as this was an animation based on talking, that should and be and was one of the main focal areas. that was the good.
one of your main areas that you need work, was in story. although there are many random animations that are good, i found this lacking greatly in context. little beyond two animals saying hi, was there anything. the opening wasn't awful, the area of "how dare you trespass..." but then it went to an area of random, too random to keep in context to the "story" and not random enough to be completely in the wtf category. another major area of needed work was on your drawings themselves. other than your mouths and the very badly drawn whale, your line work was very close to atrocious. if you are using a mouse try using the line tool and using the black arrow to smooth the lines into the shapes you want. it's a long process but so is all animation. if you have a tablet, this was inexcusable. just take your time.
i have nothing to show , so you don't have to listen to me. i'm not a professional or am i even all that good, but my advice is to take your time. animation takes a very long time. find some tutorials, and watch them and practice. look at how Johnny utah does his talking movies. watch cyanide and happiness, and study how they do their randomness. many of the artists on this site are very good, and will help you if you ask.
quite simply best of luck, but i did not find this very good.
hopefully i'll like your next one though!

...what he said.

whos fred?

i don't know who fred is..... um... wow i feel out of some loop.. i like the randomness though...

i like the message

i mean the song and the animation made a good message. the irony of the song's music to it's context coupled with the somewhat ridiculos images was funny. my problem was was that this didn't show too much work on your part. this was badly animated, and your drawing were not too good. your perspective was off, but there is worse out there.
if you had made the song this would have been great, but that was honestly the best part of this whole thing.

it was good, but it could have been better if you put more into it.
best of luck

Kenzu responds:

My aim was to make a movie to the song and to spend roughly 50 hours on it. I have spent that much. To draw it with the best art I can produce, it would take probably 100 hours, however time is limited and this isn't the main project.

i was partially amazed

the work you did with link hand, was decently vexing. i mean there definately wasn't much to see as far as story or or humor or supurb animation, but still the work you did with timing was quite the amzing thing. most people when sincing animation to music (including at times myself) don't pay much attention to perfecting the timing, or the movements. yet you did! zelda's hands followed the movement of the actual playing of the harp, plucking strings in occordance to how they should be. link actually moved his hand in respect to the sound of the orcarina. if it was a high note all of his fingers were raised. if a low sound all his fingers were on (respectivly) elongating the flutes resonating chamber making the sound longer.
the problem comes in that you spent too much time on timing and not enough time on entertainment value. if this was an e-card type of thng, this is great, but as far as an animated movie is concerned, no, this really isn't.

thank you for showing your support of a classic and great game,
best of luck

p.s.: nice art work

eERIechan responds:

Hey thank you! ^^
Well, this is an animation of them playing musical instruments, it's not much I can add to that ^^
Plus, performing music for others is also count as entertainment ;)

i liked it

it wasn't perfect, but that worked for the movie. it was very laid back as far as animation, which made it fit well with the story. the vibrant colors also fit very well with the overall style. the only real issue is that the animations only affected a small part of the character's bodies, and not their whole bodies as it should have. also there should have been more overall animation and the lack of background detail did make the video slightly less as good as it could have been.

although the video was good it was lacking jaw dropping amazing-ness.

still great job
best luck

Haven't been on this site in awhile, but doing a paper on memes made me miss this place.
